Karah joined Great Pacific Insurance Limited in July of 2020 and has ten years of experience in the captive insurance industry.
The division is responsible for:
• preparation of financial statements.
• recording each company’s monthly transactions such as policy renewals and loss activity.
• Prepare monthly accounting records for a portfolio of clients inclusive of IBCs and Captives in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards and Canadian GAAP.
• Preparation of cheques, bank drafts and wire transfer requests to ensure payment of creditors and other parties in a timely and efficient manner
• Responsible for the preparation of weekly cash reports and monthly bank reconciliations
• Preparation of quarterly invoices for captive clients under our direct management and ensuring that all monies are collected in a timely manner
• Preparation of financial statements
• Preparation of Corporate Tax Returns
• Liaising with auditors to ensure completion of the year end audit – preparation of financial statements, accompanying notes, lead schedules and supporting documentation
